Dear NutRedOx colleagues,
As a dissemination activity of our COST Action, we are going to publish a special issue dedicated to NutRedOx in the journal Free Radical Research. This recognized high-quality journal perfectly fits the scope of our action as you can see in the journal webpage (https://www.tandfonline.com/action/journalInformation?show=aimsScope&journalCode=ifra20). The last IF is 3.038.
The special issue will contain 13 articles, both reviews and original papers, and will be totally Open Access. As the publications charges are paid by COST, the general COST rules apply:
Publications funded from the COST Action budget must be a direct result of work performed by Action Participants and must be co-authored by Action
- Participants representing at least 3 different Participating COST countries.
- Publications must integrate a reference to COST and acknowledge the support of EU funding.
You should also be aware that the journal has a hardline policy on papers that report on the activity of extracts. They only accept papers for review if the active ingredients are identified,characterized and quantified.
The deadline for submission of manuscripts is end of February 2019.I kindly ask everyone who intend to submit a paper for this issue to express their interest before 20th October. A brief description including the type of paper (original or review), a provisional title, the scope of the article, and the COST members involved will suffice by now.
