As part of the integration week 2023, our students and the ARAM association are organising the From Kabul to Dijon event on Friday October 20th, 2023.
The event will take place at the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture (MJC) in Bourroches district (address: 31 Bd Eugène Fyot, 21000 Dijon).
In the programme:
- 6:30 p.m. – Projection of the documentary Life is like the waves, a film based on the true story of Ahmad Imami, a renowned actor, director and producer in Afghanistan who was forced to go into exile in France to flee the Taliban regime. A new life in a new country, where he joined the University of Burgundy programme for refugees. Mounir Belbaghdadi, Louis Chevalier and Emma Lahalle followed Ahmad Imami for several months in his daily life, between memories, doubts and hopes of one day working in the film industry again.
- 8 p.m. – Concert of traditional music from Afghanistan.
