The Computer Science Department of the Gran Sasso Science Institute (see https://gssi.it), which has recently been ranked among the best computer science departments in the Italian research evaluation exercise, offers 10 fully-funded PhD scholarships in Computer Science. The scholarships include several other benefits, apart from the monthly salary. See below for details.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to carry out cutting-edge research in algorithms, formal methods, or software engineering (see https://cs.gssi.it for current research activities in those fields).

Dear Colleagues,

I am excited to announce multiple openings for MS, PhD, postdoc, and internship positions, all funded by a 5-year ERC consolidator grant. The project, titled « NEURi3D – Learning to synthesize interactive 3D models, » seeks to advance deep learning techniques for generating interactive 3D models and scenes as well as intelligently processing 3D/4D scans and video. Led by Evangelos Kalogerakis (https://kalo-ai.github.io/), the grant will be hosted at the Technical University of Crete, Greece, commencing in October 2024. I encourage applications from candidates worldwide, irrespective of cultural background –- knowledge of Greek language is not required. Remote position options (i.e., without physical presence) are also available!
