SKILLS ACQUIRED:
Graduates of the PPN Master’s degree will have a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of optics, photonics, quantum physics, lasers and their applications in several high-tech sectors. They will be familiar with the techniques currently used in the microelectronics, optical communications and laser industries, and will have acquired a basic understanding of the physico-chemical principles governing the behavior of solid, crystalline, amorphous and organic materials, both micro- and nano-structured.
GENERAL ORGANIZATION:
The PPN Master’s program lasts 2 years and is divided into 4 semesters. In the first year, lectures, tutorials and practical work cover a broad spectrum of the physical sciences, and are taught exclusively as part of an initial training program. In the second year, the course specializes in Photonics and Quantum Technologies. It is available as an initial training course or as a continuing training course with a company (apprenticeship contract, professionalization contract).
