Bars and clubs

Feel lazy and don’t want to go too far? Stay on campus! Near the Mansart residence and next to Mister Kebap there is the bar l ‘ Acropole.

However, if you are feeling like going to the city you can explore rue Jean Jacques Rousseau (on the other side of place République) where you will find a lot of bars like the Brighton, Bam Jam, Saint Nicolas etc. Place Zola is where you will find Les Berthoms and other bars. After you’ve tried these move to the parallel street, rue Berbisey, where you will find a lot of unique bars like the Barbarians, Bayron Bay, La Lucha . If you want something classier and a bit more expensive go to place du Théâtre and place de la Liberation, where you will find a lot of nice bars with terraces for the summer. Another cool place not too far away is Flannery’s,an Irish pub, as well as its competitor, the Kilkenny . Finally, go to the Péniche Cancale , a houseboat, where lots of events are organized.

Instead, if you want to go out clubbing try to explore the area near place de la République. Here you will find places like the Beverly, Chat Noir, Salsa Pelpa, Cosmos etc. Don’t be shy to wander around and go further down these streets, there are a lot of cool places. And don’t forget to look online for any special event that might be organized.
