“Contribution of student and campus life or Contribution of student and campus life.”
CVEC as it says is Contribution of student and campus life, each student studying in France must pay. This fee is meant to be paid before the University registration for easier and more efficient health care, however there are three exceptions.
- Students holding Scholarship
- Refugee students
- Students who receive an advantage from subsidiary protection
- Students who already registered as asylum seekers and having the right to remain in the territory
The price for CVEC (2019-2020) is 91 euros and it can be paid via the module available on the website: https://www.messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr
There are two ways you can pay the CVEC amount, but first all students need to create an account on the mentioned website and simply just mention the city of your study. Then you can pay either
- Online, (on the website you created the account) OR
- in cash at a French post office.
In the end make sure you receive your certificate. (Usually the Universities administrators will ask you for a hard copy. Thus, you need to print it for registration.)
