Master 1 Lab projects

The second semester of the first year of master ends with a « lab project » in which students work 100% in a research group, on a research topic for a little bit less than 2 months. This lab project is evaluated through both the supervisor impression and the presentation of a conference-like poster, during a poster session at the end of the lab project period. It grants 5 ECTS upon succesful evaluation.

The goal is twofold:

• Give a first quick overview of what scientific research is.
• To test a given field of physics you feel interested in.

The list of proposed project follows, but students are encouraged to contact directly the research group they wish to work with.
