Tiago (ESR5) did his 1st secondment from 21/11/17 to 20/12/17. He left Clermont-Ferrand in France to Copenhagen in Denmark.

My secondment experience in Copenhagen was overall excellent. Not only I was well welcomed by Hanne and Marianne but also from all the researchers and staff I got a smile and a hand always ready to help. As capital and a multicultural environment, Copenhagen is a nice place to live and work. I met some wonderful people in the Food Safety, and Zoonosis labs and I had the chance to visit and explore this rich city. My adaptation was fast and smooth, much due to the good way I was received, enabling a full and profitable month of learning and work. I can happily say that I left some friends in Copenhagen and for sure I will miss that place. The work side was also positive, gaining new skills and obtaining data that will be used in the future.
