The Kick-off meeting of List_MAPS project was held in Dijon, France from the 13th to the 14th of October 2015. The meeting was organized by the University of Burgundy and hosted by the Agroecology Joint Research Unit in INRA Dijon. The main objective of the kick-off meeting was to launch officially the project, meet the members (Beneficiaries, Partner organizations and ESRs) and discuss the main topics.

The meeting opened with welcome speeches from Mr. Alain Bonnin, President of the University of Burgundy and Mr. Philippe Lemanceau, Head of the Agroecology Joint Research Unit. The coordinator Dr. Pascal Piveteau gave a presentation covering the scientific aspects of the network and the project manager Cécile Bernard presented the administrative and financial aspects. In addition to these topics, Ms Deborah Arnold, director of AIDE-Department of Learning Technology at the University of Burgundy, gave a presentation on e-learning and Mr. Thierry Rigaud, Head of the Doctoral School “Environnements et Santé” at the University of Burgundy, explained the complementary courses offered by his Doctoral School. A time of this meeting was dedicated to the Early-Stage Researchers who presented their individual project and explained their background and research interests. After the meeting the ESRs stayed for a day and a half to receive their first network-wide training on outreach activities with the Department “Experimentarium” of the University of Burgundy.
